Just toured Dunleckney Manor, near Leighlinbridge, Co. Carlow and what a lovely setting! It's a private house, open selected days each year, but Helen (the owner) may be wiling to let us paint there?  Phone number on their website.  Also, Ferns village is very picturesque, with the church, chapel ruins, shops, etc.
