Hope the weather holds up, Lori. We're having the best summer in years. Temps forecast in the 80's today and all next week. But, regardless, sure there's always rissoles!

This group page is essentially a talking-shop for folks taking part in (or thinking about) Art in the Open.

You can ask questions, get opinions and make suggestions here. But do please remember membership of this group page does not constitute registration for the event. You must do that on the festival website.

Have you registered yet for this year's Art in the Open? Some of the fantastic plein air workshops provided are already filling up. Booking for one is now closed. The festival is drawing wonderful artists from all over the world offering a unique opportunity to watch, ask and learn from them right on your doorstep.

Workshops can now be booked even if you do not wish register to participate in the festival. You may paint alongside for a critique or just observe and listen. There are 15 to choose from at different locations between 29th July and 2nd August. (See website for details: http://artintheopen.org/workshop13.html ).

€30 for 3 hours study with some of the very best outdoor landscape artists from California, Texas, Finland, Croatia or Australia. Each workshop is limited to 12 persons. If you are coming to Wexford, don't miss out.

A useful discussion has propped up over  on The Yanks Group Page, and thought it would be of interest here, to any participants traveling to AIO from abroad. So it's been posted as a discussion on this group page also. If anyone has any further thoughts please add to it, thanks.....
