Quite often, this question arises in discussions, a rental space, is a current topic, North of Dublin, a free community space for a non political, recognised NGO promoting an artistic hub on the northside of the city,. comments or suggestions very welcome. The space could be well maintained providing a creative environment for artists and non professionals alike, the plus side being that it would promote visual art on the Northside of the city, some of these projects have been very succesful, but unfortunately due to the downturn in the economy many have lacked the necessary funding to promote such spaces, or sadly some private organisations have seen these groups in a different light as perhaps competitors, not recognising the potential that they offer.
