Three days of outdoor painting with Portaferry Art Society.

We have a strong tradition of outdoor painting among Portaferry Art Society members. The society was established over forty years ago and currently has around thirty amateur and professional artist members.

The idea of the festival is about experiencing being part of an artistic community, connecting with the heritage of Portaferry; a vibrant, historic village and having fun!

We have teamed up with support from Portaferry Regeneration Ltd. who have kindly helped sponsor this event with money from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. We want you to enjoy this amazing village and realise the potential of your creative skills.

Whatever your level of expertise in painting, indoor or outdoor- this is the festival for you!
