Well done Marko on the press coverage.  And great to see that a few new faces (to me) are joining us.

And I didn't mean to pressurise you  about the frames.  I'll paint the watercolours without worrying about exhibiting them.  I've been doing watercolours in studio since my knee replacement in September, except for a few early season plein air paintings this year, which I did in oils.  I'll do both this year.

And Michael will always end up as fresh as a daisy!

yes - so you will smell better at the end

Cheers. Marko. I'll have room in my case for a change of clothing then!

Hi Marko. I can't remember whether there is any small store/supermarket in Himmelpfort. It would be great if there is, just to buy things like "kitchen rolls" (for cleaning brushes etc). I'm sure it would be possible to get to Furstenburg on Sunday if not - just checking. Also, just make sure to get some cheap brush cleaner (white spirit or similar) and a small amount of turps for the oil painters who are flying to Germany - you probably have some left over from Altthymen last year anyway. Unlike Valerie, I haven't even thought about packing yet. But I will do a list and then pack everything the day before I fly. I know my case is big enough to carry my painting stuff and it is also well under the 20 Kg allowance. As for clothing, well I may get a little smelly by the end of the week!

Flight booked looking forward to painting for a whole week!! Been preoccupied with maintenance on Thelma my camper lots of D I Y. Would love to pop over to Altthymen Haus for a little visit while we are there. Loved that place although it couldn't be the same without Angele in situ.

Hi Marko,

My watercolour paintings will be 26cm X 36cm, and 30cm X 40cm. Would it be possible to borrow frames to suit those sizes please?

Maike is kindly bringing oil frames for me.

I've started packing my suitcase.  Early I know, but I find that preparation for a painting trip is essential.  What to carry.  How to stay within weight and size limits - remembering to put in bug spray etc.  I suppose I could just make a list...
