Event Description

The pretty costal town of Malahide has plenty of painting opportunities to offer. We meet at the Avoca Store Café and Food Hall which is close to the BACK ROAD entrance car park. Within Malahide park there is the Castle, open parkland, ruined church and graveyard plus acres of parkland and wooded areas. Nearby is the town of Malahide with it's pleasant streetscapes and also the Marina.

Malahide is served by Train, Dart and Bus.

Directions, driving out from Dublin city take the R107 towards Malahide. Before the town turn right on to the Back Road. Proceed past the Garden House garden centre which is on the right. Shortly after that is the entrance to Malahide Park on your left. Don't park in the first car park on the left just inside the entrance but proceed to the next car park which is on the right and very close to the Visitor Centre and Avoca Café.

It'll be in Dunlaoghaire.  This is open submission pieces that have been accepted.  I'm a member - just helping out..

No worries Valerie. Best be safe than sorry. Good wishes for exhibition. Where's it at?

I might be there.  The weather looks good, but I'm collecting and storing other peoples paintings for an upcoming exhibition, and I'm a bit wary of having the car parked when it is full of other peoples' masterpieces.

If I go back home, I'm unlikely to head back into town again, and anyway I'd be very late.  So I'll probably paint locally.
