galway art club celebrating 80 years 1937-2017

The galway art club is celebrating 80 years with an exhibition of past and present  work in The Kenny Art Gallery, Liosban retail park,Tuam road,Galway. This event will also celebrate the official launch of a new book entitled 'The Early Years of the Galway Art Club' by Alison Titley.Available to buy on www.Kennys.ie. The exhibition runs to the 16th february 2018.This exhibition features work by Charles Lamb 1893-1964 one of irelands foremost painters depicting life in the west of ireland.Also Clare Sheridan 1885-1970 sculpture cousin to winston churchill, and work by the founding members of the Galway Art Club
