Event Description

This week's paintout is in Cashel Na Gor Gortahork.This old railway station, now restored used to be a stop gap between Letterkenny and Burton port.Surrounded by bog lands , we have a rail way line ,platform, forestry and with a backdrop of , Aghla Mhor, and the Derryveagh mountains ... we think you will find plenty to paint.The restoration was a labour of love and took 12 months to complete, having been left derelict for over 60 years.This is big sky country so be prepared for majestic cumulus clouds , and colours that only Donegal can deliver.

Meeting up in Ostan Loch Altan, at 11 am for coffee and chat and later for dinner in colls at 3pm.
