This week we are heading to the rural downland of Fàl Carrach and a special place called Tullaghbegley....where by the ruins of a late medieval church , holy well and graveyard remain.(3000 BC )This particular area is known and connected through a local saint called Bigill of Tulach, who it's said was a relative of Colmcille.... and who feastday falls on 1 st of November.The views from the top of this small hill are spectacular with panorama views spanning 360 degree .
Meet up in the car park of the new community centre in Falcarragh at noon or before.
Directions ....if your coming from Dunfanaghy take a left at the At the crossroads in Falcarragh ...and you will see the new community centre on your left...after the fire station......
if your coming from gortahork take a right at the crossroads , pass the fire station, and you will see the community centre on your left.
Bring along your lunch, chair and mask.
