Situated on the west shore of Bannow Bay in Co. Wexford, Tintern Abbey
was one of the most powerful Cistercian foundations in the South East
until the Dissolution of the Monasteries in 1536.

As we are out of season for the Abbey, the cafe and abbey itself will not be open. Make sure to bring a packed lunch!
Itillary for the day:
10.30am Meet In Tintern Abbey Car Park,chat and a cup of tea (from yer flask)!
11.00am pick a location and settle down to paint..(2and a half hrs)
1.30pm..Meet in car park for a chat and "demolish" our packed lunch!
2.30pm- Sketch or paint in the afternoon
5.30pm- Meet up at carpark and for anyone wishing to get a pint/ cuppa/ bowl of soup/dinner...we can move on to Fethard Village which is bout 10 mins away.
