Passionate about Pastels!
It was during the Art in the Open festival '09 that I was introduced to pastels after watching a demonstration by Greg Moore. Since then I have grown to love this medium, trying out different brands of soft pastels and various types of pastel grounds of which Unison and Sennelier pastels being my favourite and Clairefontaine pastelmat my preferred ground to work on. - Hi Jane, How are you? I really miss our days in Wexford.
Simon's garden growing well. He recently planted some perenial plants which I am looking forward to see them with all the insect and bees around. I am still working in my studio and looking forward to going out soon to paint. The weather is not very good at the moment, a bit cold and rainy but September will be much better. Historical Mounthsandel Forest in Coleraine which has a Norman lookout becomes fantastic with golden leaves on the trees in the autum. I hope to work there.
