A lovely tranquil painting Jane, I can almost hear those gulls and the waves lapping. Great brushwork in the foreground catching the glint of the setting sun on the tips of the grass. Its got everything..aerial perspective..colour..and a lovely sense of peace, must have been a joy to paint that evening.
