Thanks Norah, Kevin you have opened my eyes to yet another beautiful Aria, I listened to Pararotti RIP, singing Cielo e Mar, and remembered the return trip from Torcello on the last boat, in light pretty much like the watercolour, but much more heavenly. A deep Blue and Purple, with Orange highlighting the walls of that Ruin. and then up the Canals in Venice to the Hotel, a magical evening.

I would know this was yours Kyrle, isnt that great that you have developed a style that is your signature. That cool green door enhances the rest of the natural colours, beautiful. I havent tried any yet, Ive been painting portraits following sky arts so got painting fatigue, might google maps again tomorrow. We will find a few nice canal spots soon when things get quieter and safer

Lets Never say Never Sally, Norah is drawn to Venice too, maybe if we sell a few masterpieces and buy Hazmat Suits, wait till price is right, vaccine in one hand and brave it out, we could be sitting in Harrys bar with a line of Bellinis in front of us in no time, Oh I just remembered the cost of a Bellini....better sell a lot of Masterpieces!!

Sally You are quite right They should be over to the right if kept, I should have known that, that's what's bugging me with the painting , too much focus on them

Aah Kyrle. I like the figures - move them over a bit perhaps. Nearer the tree and then they wont interfere with the church?   But I'm sure your instinct - if that's allowed nowadays- will do the best thing.

Thanks Sally, I was there a long time ago, but yes I went by Google this time. Its from a photo. I'm not sure about painting the people I think they changed the narrative too much,  I think it was better when it was a quiet empty street corner.. I may have another go at this, looser cleaner is what I'd like.

Lovely Kyrle.  I love your figures - no social distancing there. Did you visit  the Basilica with Mr. Google?
