Continuing on from last years discussion...We're delighted that Marko and Nikoli are again making plans for another Plein Air Berlin/ Brandenburg Event 2015.Dates will be May 9th - 19th
The Event will be based again in Altthymen haus, http://www.altthymenhaus.de/
The cost will be € 45 euro/ day, full board. The nearest airport is Berlin
We had a great experience during this Event 2014. This is a wonderful opportunity to paint in the old, East part of Germany, and immerse yourself in paint :) . Places are still available, if you would like to join us let us know.

The Irish participants returning to Wexford can't speak highly enough of the inaugural event in Altthymen, Germany. So Plein Eire's congratulations to Marko and Nikolai and all those who helped to organise or worked to make it a such a success. Also, congratulations to Maike Josupeit whose paintings made her the wiinning artist and to Karen Scannell who 'took silver'.
I am looking forward to seeing a blog of the event which I am sure will be posted on this site soon.
Hartmut Jammer won best overall painting, Maike Josupeit who won first prize and Nikolai Kraneis won third prize....

Thanks Marko ..It all sounds Great.. I just changed last years discussion Title, so we can continue on this thread...Best Wishes for your preparations for 2015 !
I'm definitely going too and for the full ten days. That forest is calling me! And yes, Louise, it was made really special by the welcome we received.
I'm there for the whole time please.
If there is a single room I'd appreciate it. I snore really loudly, but ironically, I also have sleep problems. If I need to share I'll bring earplugs, and suggest that whoever shares with me does the same!
I'm sooooo looking forward to this!
Thank you Marko for being such a wonderfull host and warm welcome plus taxi service even when i finally made it to Altthymen past midnite. Much appreciated and as all the other comments attest it was a wonderfull week.
I am REALLY looking forward to this. Last year I had a knee replacement in June, and I also had family reasons that made me unwilling to be too far from home.
I've heard so much from Louise about the brilliant time ye all had, and it'll be great to be part of it!
