Hi Elaine. This particular trip is partly about promoting Art in the Open, as the TV cameras will be filming in Clonegal Village. Plans are going well. Look forward to meeting you in July along with many other of the painters you see on this site. All the best.
Best wishes for your stay in Acadia N.P., Elaine.
Well done to get the gig and look forward to seeing your paintings on here before long. I hope there are still some leaves on the trees to paint after the hurricane.
A hurricane party???
No paper hats, then.
Hi Elaine...thanks for the encouragement and kind comments.....I do love painting on the beach best! A full Irish breakfast consists of everything...eggs, rashers, sausages, mushrooms, b&w pudding...the works!!! You sure wouldn't want to be eating one every morning!! and always tastes best after a night on the town!! lol!
This comment was meant for you, Elaine - not for myself! Will get the hang of this eventually.
Thank you for looking at my pic, Elaine. To tell the truth it irritates me every time I see it. That gable is not right - must do something about it. I have been looking at your photos and am very impressed, I especially like your Cornwall paintings. I have always been attracted by roofscapes. Our local towns - Drogheda and Navan had some wonderful examples. Never got around to painting them and now 'progress' has happened and its too late - they're gone.
Thanks Elaine for your comments I had a look at your photos page Liked Young foal (very hard to catch that immediacy) Pastel painting usa, and OIl sketch New forrest PS Great studio space you have there! Toner
Hi there! Will you be going to this years Art in the Open? I'm saving up to go again...its a great time and wonderful people that are involved. Let me know if you have any ?"s.
Hi Elaine, thanks for your comments.
I love the photo gallery of you paintings- lovely warm vibrant colours.
Really like the cottages and the ponies. Hope you will be on the Roundstone course this month.
Hi Elaine,
Thank you, the Wexford painting was painted in acrylic technique, maybe that is why is so colorful, usualy I'm painting in oil technique which I prefer, but I see that you like oils as well :)
Hi Elaine, I'm afraid the closest i get to a Georgia O'Keeffe is to be her uncle. It's great to have you on the site and hope you look us up when you get to Ireland
Neil
Hi Elaine
Thanks for those many nice comments on my paintings. I've been looking at your own work and see many similarities of scene selection, cropping, colours and brushwork! It's great work. John
