With 2011 drawing to a close, and less sunlight in the day, we stayed close to home for this paintout. It was great to take some time to explore this area, as there has always been a bit of confusion (even with Wexfordians) between these locations. Katts Strand, Riverbank, and the working pier.
Surprisingly mild today, we met up in the car park for a wake up cup of coffee, and set off to paint. We started to feel the cold by lunchtime, but got back to business in the afternoon.
It's a pity the battery was down in the camera, as I'm sure we were a sight to behold...Dappled with paint and huddled around the boot of a car, supping coffee from plastic cups, while the car park filled up with folk, in their Sunday best...heading to the hotel for Sunday Carvery!! Anne, Pavlina and Jane dropped by to say hi, during the day..
Michael Mcguire, Tony Robinson,Kevin Freeney, Kevin Lewis, Barry Lynch, Karina Drogowska, and myself, made seven souls braving the elements...Thanks to all for another great day.
