We had the first promise of Summer at Rosslare Strand Bank Holiday Monday SEPA Paintout. After such a long winter and cold Spring, it was great to see all the crew back out painting and taking advantage of the sunny spell. Rosslare has loads to offer the Plein Air Painter. A long stretch of beach, the Village itself or "The Burrow". Cafe's and Kelly's Resort Hotel for refreshments, all within a short distance of your painting spot.

A new venue for SEPA, Ballycross Apple Farm didn't disappoint, with a great farm yard, animals, and landscape to choose from. The tea and waffles helped also, to refuel in between paintings :)

With 2011 drawing to a close, and less sunlight in the day, we stayed close to home for this paintout. It was great to take some time to explore this area, as there has always been a bit of confusion (even with Wexfordians) between these locations. Katts Strand, Riverbank,and the working pier.
