Today Plein Eire achieved a landmark 300 members - as easy as falling off a cliff!"  .

 

That may be a derisory number by the standards of Facebook or The National Lottery, but everyone here has a genuine shared interest. More than merely owning a computer or each wishing for a million euro, we have something in common, something rather unusual, something important. In that sense, 300 is a massive membership in just 14 months. 

 

The membership continues to grow as friends hear about the site and as Art in the Open Festival, in its 4th year, attracts an ardent following to return again, and each time with new painters from a further afield.

 

Nonetheless, some still join Plein Eire without ever posting a painting, or adding to a discussion thread, or do so only rarely. That is a pity and you can help by giving feedback on the site -say what you'd like to see on it or otherwise - and by helping make new members welcome. Be involved as much as you can, encourage others. Comment on posts and events, ask questions and tell the rest of us what you are up to 'en plein air'. 

 

Anyway, 'thank you' for being part of it!
