Yes, I know that Norah. I felt that one of your watercolours would look better than my rule barn. Afterwards I saw your trimmed Laytown.
Sally this one is still on my easel, its the one in laytown that got the scissors
You really are a purist Norah and now a beautiful wc is lost to posterity. Have you got a record of it?
I'm so glad Sean is whispering to you, This is simply beautifully ........finished! your Palette is stunning and I love the composition. This will take a frame beautifully.......as quickly as possible! I think your choice of Paper has worked wonderfully with this Image, Its soft dreamy and very evocative, Im so glad the ducks disappeared!
Norah this is beautiful. Glad you resisted those shape temptations. A certain relative of mine when asked by the geriatrician if she had any questions replied "Where Do the ducks go in the wintertime?". Because he didn't recognise the reference she was condemned to the ranks of the Bewildered.
Greetings Nora, absolutely beautiful painting, congratulations. Such a pleasure to look at, it must have been a pleasure to create. Love the colours and the treatment of water, trees and sky.
Best regards,
Brian.
Thank you Kevin and Noel. The water close to me was a much darker value but that's for another day.
