Thanks Norah. I think it's just that recently I've been getting in a session each week that's improving the drawing. For my last years at school I went to St. Mary's just opposite the church, so it was a regular hunting ground for me also!

Another great wc John, wish I had your drawing skills.  I went to college there for a while so like Sally it brings back some great memories.  Winter is a great time to paint if you have your hot bottle handy but agree about the atmosphere and of course as we seem to paint around mid-day the sun is in a better place for painting (when it comes out)
