This is also wonderful, Noel.  Very expertly executed  reflections in the water and especially the reflections of the water under the bridge.

 Noel that is really clever. I can see where I would find that invaluable, I mistakenly thought the tube of white gouache was for highlights only, thanks for that info!

I always carry a tube of white Gouache and a rigger brush. I mix in the watercolour to achieve the correct colour. The gouache makes the colour opaque. Thanks for your comment.

Agree with Norah here Noel, it is like a moment in time captured beautifully in WC, I love the way you did tree branches on the right hand side of the bridge, was it the handle of the brush? if not let me in on the secret please?

The shadows are really bring this to life and giving it a sense of the bright day it was yesterday, beautiful Noel, we used to live just a few mins from there
