Thanks Terence. I had trained every day for about 2 months beforehand, so my bum was used to it by this stage. It was a lovely trip starting from the Austrian border and travelling down along the river Adige to Merano, Bolzano, Trento, Lake Garda, Mantova and finishing in Verona. My only regret was that I didn't get too much time to paint all the lovely scenery I was passing!
