Yes, John, we did. And you are right about watercolours, the paint was not drying quick enough but we managed to stay for two hours until the rain started.

Thank you for the encouragement Julia. I didn't get a chance to see your work before you left. Hope it went well for you. There was a bit too much moisture about today for watercolour painting! Hope your children enjoyed the outing and see you again next time.

I love your composition, John, I thought your choice of the subject was superb. And I admire once again how you make a feature of the foreground.
