Soft Pastel from Talens Rembrant, my first pleinair pastel. The pastels must be nearly 50 years old, I had as a kid. Thank you Sally for the fine sandpaper.

I would put those pastels in a glass-case Noel. They are keepers. I thought the original box looked wonderfully nostalgic. In any case the work looks great and the sandpaper ground texture is superb. As Norah mentioned the sky is very nice and I love the distant foreshore with the mountain backdrop. I think I will get very fond of Pastels indeed.

Those clouds are beautiful Noel, its a great composition - a great location for paint outs

Nice one Noel. The older the vine the better the wine Or something.   Not an easy job with pastels to delineate the chalets as crisply as you have.  And I love the perspective in your clouds. Viva Les pastels.
