'First herring' at Cafe 'De Engel' Zeedijk Amsterdam
Painted June 2012 in the old centre of Amsterdam.
At that time the first herrings were served with 'korenwijn' in pub 'The Angel' at the Zeedijk.
It measures 75 x 60 cm.

So much going on here! trying to get a feel for it's size, but not up on the metric system at the moment! I love the lady in red shoes and hat, the skulking kitty, and the wind in the flag! Love your work!
