I will be in Wexford for the Plein air event, and I would love to see your favorite place to paint in the West of Ireland. If you have the time it would be nice to meet up them while I am in your country. Please keep me in mind, and I hope…"
Hi Nina, I read your previous comment about what attracts you to the Irish scenery - I think we all share those feelings, that's what gets us out on days when it should be too windy to paint, or it rains for 5 minutes every 10 minutes - throw the oil painting and palette under the car, sit in and wait for it to stop. Regarding images of Co. Clare, I teach an art group in Kilrush every year and sometimes get the chance to 'start' a painting in the eveningtime, but I don't think I've any finished painting of there. Both the Clare and Galway countryside are wonderful subjects for plein air painting. I'll check over the next while, and if I've anything worth showing you, I'll do so. Maybe some of the other PleinEireWest members might have some - l hope so.
