Hi Ester, we did not have any snow here, i painted from memory of last year's snow . thanks for your nice comment. Your Friend Greg Allen fron Australia is doing 3 w/s at the Cornloft Studio this year. Hope you can make one of them. May. 25/26/27 landscape and country scenes and lots more. 29/30/ Nude w/s both w/s watercoulor, 3day oil w/s in June 2/3/4. We are looking for a model Ester for the dude w/s, would you like to volunteer.
Frank Francese is also coming in September 7/8/9. Watercolour w/s.
Very nice Rita. We had some snow here in Dec also but it only lasted for few hours.
Hi Norah, thanks for your comments. I sorry you threw your painting in the bin. Try using the other side and start again. I used burnt sienna and while it was still wet, dropped in a touch of aliz. crimson to give that glow.
Have tried a few snow scenes in wc and threw them in bin - love the warmth you have in this one - that pinkish glow does the trick !
