Very well done to all who participated – 14 members and 66 paintings – especially to Dee Shanny and Frank Hallinan Flood. They did Trojan work hanging the exhibition in less than 2 hours. All exhibitors were on hand at 7.45 a.m. Some had come from as far as Bray and Enfield. The exhibition was up and running for the first visitors to the Visitor Centre by 9.30. By lunch time one artist had received a commission and another had sold two paintings.
Co-operation of the participants, proficiency and skill of Dee and Frank, and not least the generosity and support of Clare Tuffy and her staff in the Visitor Centre resulted in an exhibition to be proud of.
Exhibition, in Bru na Boinne Visitor Centre, runs from 18th May to 16th June, 9 a.m. to 6. 30 p.m. (May) and to 7p.m. (June). Bring the kids – a great day out for all the family.
