How do they keep ‘em down on the farm? To find out join us in the Newgrange Farm Coffee Shop at 11 a.m. on Saturday, 21st March for coffee and scones.
We will have access to local fields steeped in history (Battle of the Boyne) and prehistory (Knowth and Newgrange) and spectacular views of the Boyne and surrounding countryside. And if that’s not enough its Spring with lambs, calves, daffodils all over the place. We will return to Newgrange Farm for soup and sandwiches about 3/3.30 p.m.
To get to Newgrange Farm follow signposts i.e.
From M1 take Exit 10 towards Slane. After thatched pub take left and follow signs.
From N2 via Finglas (no tolls) turn right in Slane village towards Drogheda. At Smiths shop turn right and follow signs to Newgrange Farm.

Sally, would love to go, but have been in the sickhouse again. Just had an awful winter, it never seems to end. Have a good day.
The AGM of the Irish Soc of Botanical Artists is on tomorrow at the Botanic Gardens. So I'll be at that, and I will bring my painting gear along for afterwards.
