Come along and join us this coming saturday   2nd of may, in the majestic grounds of Virginia Park Lodge by kind permission of the renowned Master Chef Richard Corrigan.This country hotel, or as Richard now likes to now call it a" Hometel "dates back to  over 400 years and stretches itself  over 93 acres of the finest cavan land  .Originally owned by the Marquis of Headfort as his hunting ground, we have  the beautiful banks of lough Ramor on your left , just beyond the golf course  and as you approach the lodge,......they also have walled gardens, disused stone buildings, stables, boat house along the lake, extensive forestry, meandering walks, , and trails through bluebell glades when in flower, ( we are assured that the  tulips are in flower at the moment., ) not sure of the bluebells yet although mine are popping their heads open  in my garden.

we plan on meeting up at the usual time of 11am in the local village restaurant  called The Riverfront .for coffee and chin wag, and again thereafter at 3pm for lunch and craic.( as there is communion in the village that day, the restaurant is expecting to be extra busy and has asked us to be patient)

if your looking to avoid any tolls, try dunshaughlin, Navan, Kells, and Virginia...on the N3 .
