Hi Louise,

Carla and I will be down in Reedstown for the w/e. Hope to paint out Sunday and if you are around would be nice if you could join us too. I think Michael is going to come along. Where do I find George?

Just been told that towels are provided. Makes packing a little lighter.

And I offered Louise a room too.  The airport bus stops at the end of my road. I have three spare beds plus a sofa, so the more the merrier.  There is space for a second car in my drive, plus room on the road.

Hi Louise.

If you would like to come up the day before we fly to berlin you would be welcome to stay o/n with us. we have a room. It would save you a drive through the night.

Also, we can put one other person on the sofa in the living room. It converts into a bed.

We could share a taxi to the airport. €25 each way from our place. And we could leave about 5.30 am and be at airport about 6.00 am. for check in. Better than an all night drive.

Let me know. Would be most welcome. David

Oh yes just to let you all know, the opening of the plein air will happen in Furstenburg this time on the day we arrive. Last year it was simply when we all began to paint. This could be tiring as a lot of us will have been up since t.D day before. So try to get some kip before you travel to the airport.Grand for all ye goin from Dublin, but for us from south east it will be a longggggg day.

I have maps with train tram and underground , plus all the attractions prices etc so I'll bring the best ones with me.Quite a few of the museums are free entry others you pay. You can pick then whether you want to go to this t.at or the other.

If you want to stay for a night or two in Berlin, we loved the quirky hotel we stayed in, very reasonable, on the river on Friedrichstrase close to everything, they rent bicycles for ten euro a day, or those two wheels seg yoke that you see in shopping malls in the states. Don't know how much they cost. Lots of lovely restaurants around and we really loved it.

Hi David,
Well if you want to see anything in Berlin museum or gallery wise you need to go on Tuesday to Saturday, most galleries closed Mondays.
The train is the way to go from Furstenburg one of the lads would prob drive people to the station.Alternatively you could cycle. Bring LAYERS, so if there is warm or cold you are equipped. Paint wise or bring your paints panels, pochade tripod etc. Don't panic cos Berlin is only 50miles away so if you want a day off just go on the train.
