Event Description

Who would believe its now been 3 year since we last painted on the grounds of oldbridge co louth,.Long over due a visit.WE WILL RENDEZVOUS AT ELEVEN ISH for coffee and catch up IN THE TEA PAVILION ( Brambles) on the historic grounds of oldbridge house, AND MEET BACK THEREafter at three ish for lunch and craic.

This historic site offers the painter, panoramic vistas, walled gardens, orchards, river boyne near by, and plenty more.This historic house was built in 1740 and designed by george Darley , a local mason and architect.To the left of this impressive house there is a cobbled stone stable yard containing coach houses, stables and tack rooms.

The battle of the Boyne centre is located on the south bank of the river Boyne, 3 km north of donore village.The site is well sign posted from the M1 exit 9 off the N51( slane Drogheda ) &off the N2 Slane /

Ashbourne .Free car parking available.

All welcome.

Bring along your wellies as the forecast is pretty bad.

Norah and Ali,..... ye missed a fantastic day up in Mornington , sun split the stones, and great craic as usual, then we finished up with a scrumptious meal in Bettystown..Looking forward to seeing ye in Oldbridge on Monday Next.
