Event Description
Killinick is an easily overlooked, neat little village on the Rosslare Road. It is relatively easy to reach, being on the main Rosslare Road just behind the Amber Garage. It must have been a little gem on the way to Rosslare before the arrival of heavy traffic and the rather dominating garage. Now you have to seek it out.
What is there to paint?
The village has some attractive street lines and old buildings of character like the Merry Elf pub. It is surrounded by typical south Wexford countryside. There are cows and horses in nearby fields, roadside strawberry stalls, some interesting thatched houses on the main road within half a mile and more.
Meet at the Karoo Farm Shop for your Sunday coffee where the owner Clint is kindly offering a complementary tea or coffee to SEPA members who arrive before 10.30am. There is parking in the Amber garage/ Centra car park.
