Event Description

We meet, this Sat, Dec 7, in the Peacock Tearooms of Newbridge House, North Dublin located in the 18th century cobbled courtyard at 11 am and again at 3. Demesne closes at 4 !!!.

Newbridge Demesne opened as a County Dublin Regional Park in 1986. It consists of approximately 400 acres of gently undulating pastureland, woodland, watercourses and pleasure grounds.

The estate still maintains a small farm, including a fine, square cobbled courtyard adjoining the house.

Situated 12 miles north of the city centre, the house itself boasts one of the finest Georgian interiors in Ireland. Each room open to the public, has its own style of original furniture - the house appears more or less as it did 150 years ago.
