Swans in the Harbour.

It was wild and windy.  Most of us painter from our cars, but the brave John McManus was spotted painting out in the open.

I started by feeding the swans, and then painting them from my car.  Some idiot photographer wanted photos of swans in flight. so bye, bye birdies.  Barbara and I went for coffee after which I went for a walk along the beach and was spotted by Phil Hofler.  We decided to see what the views were from half way up Bray Head, and we stayed there to paint - again from our cars.

Then we went for a hot cuppa to the Harbour Bar, where we met up with Deirdre and John Moriarty.

In all, six people turned up on a freezing, wet and windy day.  Not bad!

Just wish I could get there - I hope you all have a great time. Busy finishing some of last summers French stuff
