Event Description

Saturday12th promises to be a lovely day .
Will you join me and paint at Stackallen Weir? A beautiful spot along the Boyne with it’s well known horseshoe weir. The old Drogheda-NAVAN Canal runs alongside and to top things off there’s an old mill and a row of mill cottages.

I suggest you bring a flask and some goodies as its a beautiful spot for picnicing.

We can meet for coffee at the Apple Green filling station on the N51 SLANE /NAVAN Road at 11 am.

To get to Stackallen Bridge from Applegreen go back a few hundred yards towards Slane and turn right onto the L3411 . Go over the bridge and turn left and you should find us along there somewhere.
