Yes Sun. June 12th in Carlow Town will have a lot of activities in the water with the first outdoor Water Park in Ireland (I think!?!) on the River Barrow (for June 11th & 12th only), a full day of events including water slides, dancers, samba bands, young musicians, workshops etc. from 12 - 4pm in the Carlow Town Park. Artists can either mingle and paint or paint from a distance from the other side of the river. The views seen on June 12th won't be seen very often, especially in Ireland! (let's hope the weather is good!) Hence we thought it could be a good idea to have a Plein Air event.
We have an artist facilitating the meet and greet who is very experienced in Plein Air events and is delighted to be involved....
Hope you are keeping well and that we get to meet up on the 12th.

Hello everyone, I'm new to Plein Eire and really looking forward to participating in it. I have looked at some of the works displayed and feel really positive that I can get in front of a canvass and paint away. Watch this space and thanks for all those who welcomed me onto the site.
Hi everyone! Thanks a lot for the very warm welcome.
I got the question if I know of other Swedish plein air painters. I am sorry to tell you that I dont know any. Thats a reason too that I seek fellowship over the internet.
Hello, Have updated profile with photo as advised, the only reason I used the piano, is that I could not get the foto now uploaded to upload through the sign up process, however all is well now.
Copy of my letter to you which may not get to you before Saturday.

Dear Tony,
I’m afraid I am unable to collect my paintings (065/1 and 065/2) on Saturday. Would it be possible for you to hold on to them for a few days. Kate Beagan has offered to collect them for me. I’m not sure when she will be in Wexford, sometime next week I understand. I expect she will be in touch with you.
I know this kind of thing must be the last straw for you especially after having steered the festival so successfully through to its conclusion so I do appreciated it very much.
Thanks again for all the pleasure and experience of the Festival.
thanks for welcoming me! I listen with envy to the wonderful tales of the Wexford plein air event, I mean plein eire event that David brings back to Annapolis! Perhaps I will participate in the future. I admire your event and how you have included so many artists.
I recently signed up but whenever I go in to site I am not visible in my group which is North East Boyne Valley. It only lists 14 members but I joined up a few months ago. Can you advise please?
Hi i am delighted to become a bember of plien eire , im from Limerick city and i believe there no plein eire group in our county , i would love to start a group in Limerick i have people ready to doin plein eire . Please consider my request .yours truly ronald mc knight
Hi sorry about the ancient profile photo. I joined via Facebook link last night and never realised my profile photo on there would follow me. I was reminiscing for childhood days with that one. The current one I've changed to is very much up to date.
I haven't uploaded artwork yet as I fall into the interested in doing outdoor painting category. I did used to paint outdoors all the time but in recent years have been 'studio' based but I would like to get back into outdoor painting and I'm keen to connect with other artists.
I feel true love for Eire! Being an argentinian and an artist could explain " romantic"
It is in my highest dreams to be able to paint a mural in Ireland! may be now is posible! wouldn't it be great?
I belong to the mural society of Ca.Usa and have experience in large scale murals...You have artists and all we need is a wall, reasonable budget to survive an paint!!! Im happy to have found you guys! Fernanda
I look forward to paint with the Plein Eire group. I just opened my new studio with my three artist friends Nuala, Deirdre and Niamph and I intend to download some of my work very soon. Happy New Year to you all. Bonne Annee et Bonne Sante!
Thank you for your welcome! I'm a Florida painter with a mountain chalet in the Catskills of NY . Here is a plein air painting of that very spot. I would like to thank you for extending your welcome to artists internationally. I mistakenly signed up for this site, not realizing it was based in the beautiful emerald Isle, but am glad I did! Thanks again!
Thank you for including me in your membership! The work here is really dynamic.
I will be at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre for 3 weeks and plan to paint in oil-however am concerned as know customs does not allow oil 'paint' on flights. Are there any supply stores you can recommend in Dublin or surrounding areas? Any help is appreciated!
Thank you for your welcome ,I am looking forward to Painting Plein air with other Artists this Summer it is some thing I have always wanted to develop and it sounds like fun !
Thanks for the welcome. This looks like a busy site which I'm sure will inspire and provoke me - and the most important thing, working on my own, is to have outside contact with like minded people.
