The paint out this Saturday, 25 January 2025, is at Poboil Dun Luichi (parking area) on R251 from Dunlewey towards Gweedore. From the parking area you can see the Clady river and hills across and Dunlewey, the Poisoned glen and Errigal in the distance as well as the bog and hills towards Gortahork in the opposite direction. 

We will be meeting at 10am in Roarty’s garage on the N251 (off N56) just up the road from the church (F92 CK6F). There are views of the church, Errigal to the Northeast and those who want to explore further have a diverse range of landscape and buildings to choose from. 

It is January, so winter and temperatures have plummeted so bring what you need to stay warm and comfy for the day including hats and gloves, hot water bottles, wraps, rain gear is never amiss and let’s not forget a snack or light lunch, hot or cold drink, chair and - your art materials or whatever you want to spend your time with. And it is always good to have a sketch pad with you, in case the weather is too wild and we are opting for a bit of sketching in the hotel. All are welcome to come along in body - and mind.
