10x12” oil on canvas. The Nanny at Sonairte. Got too cold before I had finished. Had to finish the trees at home. The Cottage Inn was a bit of a find.

A very effective painting, Sally.      You caught the rippling water well and nicely understated the

reflections.   The whole area  was a wonderful venue .

Norah and Kyrle. Thank you both.  Would like to try it again. Tones all queer. Composition wasn’t what I had intended either. Yes,  must “do” Laytown again as soon as east wind turns around.

Thats stunnung Sally, the water is beautiful, very calmimg. Yes that was a great location,thanks for getting us out, I nearly stayed in the leaba.

Wonderful Sally,  A lovely venue, The river looks great, I tried those trees but failed utterly , Ill go back again though.
