Event Description

I am heading over to Castletown next tuesday as I thought with colder weather and bare winter trees a few quick charcoal or pencil sketches would be quicker than setting up all the other gear. The indoor coffee shop is now in new hands for anyone who wants to have a coffee indoors but I will be staying outside and will be bringing my own flask, mask etc

It was great to get out yesterday, if cold - and no esb for the coffees but thank you Michelle for the very tasty biscuits, they were delicious. I did a fairly quick watercolour sketch on a new block of W&N hotpress paper, nice to use dries faster than I expected.

Thanks for the info about meeting at the outside tables, Norah.   On my

Satellite TV they are mentioning for Channel 5, there's an amateur watercolour challenge during the week at 4 pm.

Thanks Norah.

I look forward to being there.

Portaloos were still there a couple of days ago!

Sorry Sean, I forgot to add in the normall times, I have changed it now, so maybe meet at the outdoor tables at the coffee shop near the house. I am nor sure if the portaloos are still there but the coffee shop is open, take care and see you there weather permitting

Michelle we are meeting at 11am at the outdoor tables at the coffee shop, the far end of the house, unless the weather forecast is too bad. Some people just come and sketch or take photos while others set up their easels and enjoy the social end of it too - especially after these last few months. If you cant make it this time there will be many more paint outs as we normally go out every saturday or occasionally midweek. Take care and might see you tuesday

I'm assuming we still have 11 am as a general time for

us all meeting, in the

car park?     As otherwise, it occurs to me,  someone could end  up experiencing the place completely on their own.

Hi Norah. If you are there in the morning of 25th I would like to join you. (I have an appointment in the afternoon)

I’m a newbie to painting and never painted en plein air but would love to give it a go.

Regards, Michele.
