Continuing on from last years discussion...We're delighted that Marko and Nikoli  are again making plans for another Plein Air Berlin/ Brandenburg Event 2015.Dates will be  May 9th - 19th

The Event will be based again in  Altthymen haus, http://www.altthymenhaus.de/  

The cost will be  € 45 euro/ day, full board. The nearest airport is Berlin 

We had a great experience during this Event 2014. This is a wonderful opportunity to paint in the old, East part of Germany, and immerse yourself in paint :) . Places are still available, if you would like to join us let us know.

Nobody has mentioned ticks yet this year, so I thought I would! Just remember to keep the trouser legs inside the socks!

I for one, have not forgotten those darn critters and yes in long grass keep the pants in the socks. But if it's fine just stay out of the long grass if we are wearing shorts , examine legs if yer long grass afterwards. Lyme's is not a friendly companion for the rest of your life. SO many artists contract this disease from being in tick infested places let's just all be careful and aware., vigilant,..,

I was just stirring it a bit!  Actually, I think we have exactly the same level of risk in many parts of rural Ireland. I heard on radio recently that the Burren is a very high risk area and that over 60% of the ticks there carry Lyme disease. So I think, unless any of us try naturism in Altthymen, we should be OK!

My son's girlfriend caught Lyme's disease when she was young.  Her immune system is still compromised.  So socks outside trousers it is.  Me pants will stay around me middle.

Nobody know, but we discussed it. Somehow we'll get you all from the airport to Altthymen.

It would be good if the trains were normal cos if the strike goes ahead it's for seven days from tomorrow for passenger trains, that would take in next Saturday.Ah we can sort out something between the lads and ourselves.
