Hi Marko and Nikolai,
Thank you both for the organisational effort and all the information. The brochure is very impressive. I'm looking forward to a very enjoyable week of painting.
I would be interested in trying out the Gessobord flat 1/8" panels, if you have any to spare.
I would also like to pay you by PayPal. I presume that the number you referred to is a reference number to be used, and that the PayPal account name is your email address.
With reference to tics, do any of these drop from trees (like the Zecken encountered in Bavaria?
Thanks again.
George
Ha ha Michael you're righ!! the last time I was in St Mullins I was pinged by midges no end, scratched the whole way home!!! That was even with my hat on those critters would eat you alive without salt !!!

hello you all - tomorrow i will travel to hamburg to meet the sponsor and check the material - i hope all will go well - i meet him at 2 pm - i was eastern at altthymenhaus and i checked the room situation - there are some rooms with 2 and more beds - is it a problem when some of you are sharing a bigger room? - george, is it a problem for you to sleep in the second floor? - although i found the know regional painters Bodo Neumueller and Matthias Schilling as jury member for the awards - there are material prices from our sponsors - the plein air is coming nearer and nearer - i am getting more and more excited - best wishes from berlin - marko

Hi everyone,

after more than a week, I'm back to Berlin and prepared some photos from Altthymen and the neighboring painting spots. I uploaded the photos here: pleinair-brandenburg.de/galerie-teilnehmer.html

You will see a landscape with birches (about 5km from Alttymen), there are a lot of heather flowers. I suppose, that this is a former russian military area, where they played with their toys.

Looks like some interesting places to paint, Nikolai. Thanks for posting.

URGENT! To all participants from Eire, who will paint in Allthymen.

I want to order some frames for all, who will paint on boards. Hanging the paintings in the gallery without frames will look strange. Everybody will be represented with 3 paintings. So, please let me know which sizes I shall order. Do you prefer only 8x10" (three frames) or one 8x10, one 10x12 and one 12x14? I want to make the order for tomorrow.

cheers, Nikolai

Hi Nikoli,

Having frames there will certainly ease the travel load, thanks to you guys for thinking of it. Personally it's hard for me to judge what frames I'll need, but having one 8x10, one 10x12 ,and one 12x14 , will be good to have there. I might bring another size with me just in case . What colour and style frame are you using ?

Looking forward to seeing and painting with you all  ! Karen

Hi Nikolai,
Thank you for all your help. I would also prefer one 8x10, one 10x12 and one 12 x14 of the choice provided. I will probably end up painting on smaller panels (max 10x12); however having the choice would be helpful. Freue mich darauf!
George

The colors will be golden and a mixture of dark golden and bronze. They have a simple shape. I think they will work with a lot of paintings. I attached some photos, the golden frame is 8x10" (inside) and the other one 24x30cm. Due to the reflections, these kind of frames have a constant changing surface color.
