A selection of watercolours made by Don Maier of Marietta (like the biscuits), in Georgia, USA, during a visit to Ireland for Art in the Open. The programme for the 2012 plein air festival promises to be even better than last time and you can find it here: www.artintheopen.org. It may be harder than ever to make a living from art but so far, there's no legislation against getting tremendous enjoyment and inspiration from it - which is what this event is all about.

Book online now to catch your favourite workshops (places limited to 12) and to save €10 on the registration fee.
