We met in the Marine Hotel, Sutton. There were about fourteen of us. The day looked beautiful - a clear blue sky and strong sunshine. We looked out on a Mediterranean-like scene form the hotel lounge. However the wind from the east was cutting. Four of us stayed in the shelter of the hotel garden and basked in the warm sunshine. The other hardy troopers headed for Howth Head and harbour.
Nevertheless, despite our suntrap some of us weren't taking any chances. Dee and Caitriona ran the gamut of weather-appropriate dress from 'take off as much as poss' to 'wear the lot'.
Anna didn't take any chances either.
If any of the Howth Hardy Hartists have a photograph please add to the blog.
