Beautiful Sunshine today, made for a great return outdoors in the wonderful location , Fethard on Sea. We missed a 10km run from Hook head to Fethard in aid of MS, as a majority of us couldn't move past a gem located just before Fethard Harbour. It was great to see everyone able to paint in the comfort of a lovely sunny warm day.

The North West Painters Lost one of its founding members earlier this week. Niel Carrigan  His day to day job was as a school teacher but at the weekends he was an avid out door painter, who enjoyed the challenge's of painting the light, around and on the landscape, no matter what the weather and believe you me, we painted in some weather conditions, from wind swept to bright sunny days. We had the first promise of Summer at Rosslare Strand Bank Holiday Monday SEPA Paintout. After such a long winter and cold Spring, it was great to see all the crew back out painting and taking advantage of the sunny spell. Rosslare has loads to offer the Plein Air Painter. A long stretch of beach, the Village itself or "The Burrow". Cafe's and Kelly's Resort Hotel for refreshments, all within a short distance of your painting spot.
