Dont know if youve heard but tomorrow's Paint Out at Glendalough has been postponed due to bad weather forcast. Pity. I'd usually wouldnt let weather put me off! Just to let you know we hold a Dublin Plein Eire regular First-Sat-Month Paint Out and the next one will be July 2 - location to be nominated.
All the best
JOHN O FLYNN
Deborah,
Tell me about it! I am still recovering from a flu I picked up while (summer-!)painting with a group in Donegal the week before last - fighting gales, rain and bog with golf umbrella lashed to my leg or the easel. I'll be bringing the same golf umbrella on Sunday just in case! You'd better give me a house number in Clarinda Park or a mobile/cell so I can contact you when nearby.
Best

Deborah,
I live on the other side of town, near Howth - but could drop by your daughter's place in D'Laoire. If noboby else nearby offers - let me know.
All the best

Deborah,
PleinEire administrator (whoever that is!) suggested you might like a lift to Glendalough, next Sun 12 Jun - I can oblige if you'd like!

Hi Deborah,
Cead mile failte!
John O'Flynn is the convenor of Dublin Plein Eire. There's also painters like Tom Scott, Jim Doolan and Dublin Sketchers like Tracy O'Brien. Others include Greg Long, Greg Moore, Padraig McCaul - just search 'Dublin' under 'members' to see lots. I'll get in touch with some to get in touch via the site.. Next Sunday a crowd are going to Glendalough which is an interesting place. Hope to see you there.
Ahh..you found us Deborah! Welcome to the site.Hope you find a few events and new friends to hook -up with when you come to Ireland on your trip!
Karen
Hi Deborah,
Welcome to the Plein Eire site. Your work is already attracting a fanbase!
You may want to join 'Plein Eire Dublin' group within the tab 'Groups' to find out what they are doing while you are staying with your daughter and of course we hope you will be in Wexford during Art in the Open between the last week of July and the first week of August. Sign up to SouthEast Plein Air or Art in the Open for that. They're all free.
Here is our Welcome sheet for new members.
Hope you enjoy the site and get lots from using it.
