I have just got back from a short break in Donegal which went extreemly well despite the rather inclement weather ! This is the first Painting break I have organised in Donegal for a good few years and it was great to show the newcomers around to some of the delights of this magnificent part of the country. I have been coming here for over 16 years and have painted at all times of the year and in ALL weathers but the place never dissapoints !
This Break was centered around the Beach Hotel, Downings and we got to paint around Lackagh Bridge, Melmore Head and Fanny's bay plus sampling the delights of some great Guinness at some really traditional pubs.

Well, I can't keep away for long ! My mate Keith and I are heading west to Galway for my book signing and Demo on Sat 22nd then we head northwards to Achill Island to capture a little more of the magic and inspiration of the place.
