I was surprised at how low the river level was on Monday on a visit to Duncormick. Still, the challenge of shallow water with a combinations of reflections, shadows and ripples is hard to resist. It's oil on 14" x 11" MDF panel.

That's really what caught my eye, Caroline. There was virtually no flow in the water, just a gentle breeze stirrings things up a bit.
