Another attempt at pastel. Many thanks to David for his advice and information.I think this turned out a bit better than the earlier one - still plenty of room for improvement! Will do those exercises diligently, David, thanks again.

Comment by Norah Blount on July 23, 2014 at 21:20: That bank of clouds is beautifully rendered Sally - so soft and wispy but with volume too, have you tried that sandpaper pastel paper - think it is called fisher, but the wc paper is given you lovely texture.
