We had a group paint-out (SEPA) at Kilmokea House on Sunday. I found it difficult at first to find something that appealed to me, since it was overcast and there was little or no colour as of yet in the gardens. Then I found the patterns of light and shade on the leaves just below the daffodils here very interesting, I don't know much about ornamental plants, but it looked like a sort of miniature gunera.
